OPTIMATE contains pure Scottish Salmon oil on a highly absorbent carrier and rumen protected by high melting point vegetable oil. OPTIMATE provides a natural source of high levels of Omega-3 fatty acids, Elcosapentaenoic (EPA) and Docosahexaenoic (DHA).These essential fatty acids are important for certain biological functions.
Prostaglandin from the uterus triggers recycling and early embryonic death, however Omega-3 fatty acids in OPTIMATE reduce Prostaglandin secretion and improves maternal recognition of pregnancy. also it is high in lipogenic nutrients (acetic acid) it helps to build body condition and negate against negative energy balance in early lactation and decrease the demand for energy.
